Pez was a dream on this trip. It's hard to get her to the car but once you have her there she is fine.
When we stop for breaks before we leave we call her name and Meow. She knows to meow back at us (like roll call). Once we know she's accounted for we start rolling again.
I loved this picture of her looking out the window. We have to lock the electric windows because she has figured out how to roll the windows down by standing on the control.

Very well behaved cat! I can't imagine having mine loose in the car! The one time I did that, the cat was in my lap & under my feet--by the pedals!
How adorable!!! I don't think I've ever seen a cat looking out a car window! She's a smart well-behaved kitty!
